History: Dustin lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Dustin took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up hammer and armor he uses now. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Carpenter they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Mortician, and he later adopted a second son.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Tanner but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: Hugh lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. When Hugh reached his early adolescence his Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.
