His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Bertram is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Born in the east to a Layabout, Bertram learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
