History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Theobald grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Theobald. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She was taken from her home at a very young age. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Egelina was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
