History: Avice was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She took after her mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, her mother taught her to defend herself. When her mother died while fighting illithids, the young Avice began to lead the lost caravan. She has dedicated herself to building a better village for her children.

She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Eleanor was born the youngest of three triplets. Her father worked until she suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. She had to support her now crippled father and took her father's old job. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. The war was a terrible time for him, and Raymond does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life.
