Personality: He is fixated on the number 18. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: Everard hails from a village terrorized by illithids. Everard liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Everard was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He disdains his fellow southerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and to unite with his sister

History: She was born in the east, but her parents moved at a very young age to the west. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the east were limited. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: She wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away.

Personality: Heather is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. She is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. When Heather reached her early adolescence her Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
