History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: She's looking for her big break.

Personality: She will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken her opponents. Despite her formidable combat skills she remains a coward. She loves her children and doesn't want them to worry about her. She loves to share her writing with anyone who is interested.

History: Elysande lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered writing. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother; and to unite with her brother

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the north. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and his religion dominates his actions
