History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: She hates gnolls. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She loves her children and doesn't want them to worry about her. She loves to share her writing with anyone who is interested.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Like her father and her brother before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Performer. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.
