Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Heward was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

History: Born in the west to a Hunter, Jocelyn learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Hunter work with an outfit from a few towns over. Hunter work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He's also a talented Weaver, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Shipwright who has hired him part-time. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gifted student he started as a Farmer, but he got bored and became a Shipwright. He now owns his own business.
