History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. In her 10th year, her parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Joan alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by gnolls. Joan was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the gnolls.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a ruined castle. She would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Alice took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up bastard sword and armor she uses now. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

History: Gilbert was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

A fanatic, her devotion to her small selection of gods is unquestionable. She claims to be doing their will and will base all her actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: She comes from a rich eastern family. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
