Personality: Jocelyn is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. Ida is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her brothers into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: Ida was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A serious injury left her mother unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Mayor they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Jeweler, and she later adopted a second son.

Motivation: She made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Mayor born in the past three hundred years. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He was raised in a desert tribe. His childhood dream was to be a Dilettante, but he was a colossal failure. He has achieved small success as a Mayor.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.

Personality: She snorts whenever she laughs or is feeling confident. She has all her life been fascinated with painting.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the west were limited. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.
