History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. Through the years after Trym was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Trym's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Mayor born in the past three hundred years. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Kody was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: The child of a Hunter, who enjoyed hunting, Adam was taken on many hunting expeditions. He worked as a nervous Layabout and found it very stressful. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and many orcs want him driven away
