History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.

History: He was born in the north. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature crossbow.

Motivation: Many dire rats want him driven away.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and he's in love

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He works hard and plays hard.

History: He was raised in a forest tribe. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Miner work with an outfit from a few towns over. Miner work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He's also a talented Sculptor, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Miner responsibilities is difficult; and to be a sculptor again
