History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Giselle lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She's also a talented Spy, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: To unite with her brother; and doesn't want to be a guard and was forced into it by her family

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Rohesia's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. She is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Rohesia hails from a village terrorized by brigands. A serious injury left her mother unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by brigands. Rohesia was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the brigands.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge.
