History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. A gifted student he started as a Bellfounder, but he got bored and became a Dyer. He was granted psionic powers by his dying sister.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. The war was a terrible time for him, and Adelard does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
