History: Born in the east to a Ruler, Richard learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 7 years.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Human companion (her 'brother'). She then took over the family business and is one of the better Scribe for hire.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Scribe responsibilities is difficult.

History: She was born in the south, but her parents moved at a very young age to the west. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: She is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: He was born into a rich family. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Clerebold's homeland. Clerebold decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: Human compassion; and a strong sense of loyalty to human people
