History: When she was but 3 years old her parents immigrated from the south. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Hugolina fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He always admired divine-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and he desires to right it; and a deep hatred of drow

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Elizabeth abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: Her religion dominates her actions; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions
