History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. His parents were killed by gnolls in a raid when he was still a young child. The gnolls captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was born into a rich family. Arnold was born on a far western desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Spice Merchant. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and he has money and likes to spend it
