Personality: She hates dire rats. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a son. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes brigands are coming to abduct people. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the south. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Many brigands want him driven away.

Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, William was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, William has worked very hard to control his curse. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and he loathes his own lifestyle
