History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. During her travels, Rosamund and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Rosamund discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Rosamund fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Matilda was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered north to less war torn lands. After a long history of fighting, Matilda and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge.
