History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. A freak accident while working with her Cartwright mother left her crippled. She has never given up on her writing dream.

Personality: She fancies herself a trickster and likes to rely on her wits to carry the day. She cares for her older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. She pushes her goals aggressively. She is also a coward if confronted.

History: Joan lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. At a young age her father died while driving off some goblins. Her mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train her in halberd use. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Apothecary they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Servant, and she later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: She is terrified, and will act out of fear; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and she desires to right it

Description: She wears many layers of old clothing at all times, but does not cut a very imposing figure. She walks with a slouch but will stand straight to her full 5'9" when asserting herself. Her chestnut hair is knotted and matted. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: She likes to fabricate stories about her past exploits and how crazy she is, but in actuality she is rather bland. She is used to getting what she wants. In part because she is a meticulous planner.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Williamina was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.
