Description: A pudgy man standing about 6'1" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He wears a suit in poor condition. It has not been laundered in sometime and has been worn in activities one would not normally wear a suit during. His hair is short and golden. His eyes are blue and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Adam fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He dropped out of school to support his sick father, and resented it. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: She is a Spice Merchant first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. She is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: Herleva was born the youngest of three triplets. She worked as a nervous Spice Merchant and found it very stressful. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: To unite with her sister.

Description: He is a man of bearing and well nourished. He wears dark leathers with embroidery. His moppish silver hair is in a traditional bowl cut. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 10 years.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and money/treasure
