Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: Don hails from a village terrorized by giants. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his father's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered giants who tried to eat his hand. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Ruler they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Tanner, and he later adopted a second daughter.

History: Born in the east to a Miner, Katherine learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Miner. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is her passion

Personality: Calm and collected, she is a well trained Cook. She keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to her own.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Cook.
