History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Matilda was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.
