Personality: He hates goblins. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He took after his father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his father taught him to defend himself. When his father died while fighting goblins, the young Everard began to lead the lost caravan. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Oriel lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his mother.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the west; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion
