History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Anne was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: She barks her statements quickly and with little fuss. She prefers small words and is at her heart utilitarian. She enjoys reading and quiet.

History: Emeny was born the youngest of three triplets. Her parents enrolled her in a Paladin school at a young age so that she could practice her arcane talents. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His childhood dream was to be a Spice Merchant, but he was a colossal failure. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He wants revenge against goblins; and someone believes him a fraud

Personality: She likes to make people angry or surprised. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: She was born in the south. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Body Guard. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: To end her boredom; and she seems to be bored by most things
