Description: A thin man, he clearly needs to put on some weight, but he still has a lot of muscle. He is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. His hair is red and curly. His fierce blue eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and a rival would like him out of the picture

Personality: He is a sleazy, sleazy guy. He has no qualms about using his powers of suggestion to get people to do what he wants. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and he desires power and/or immortality

Description: He wears a fancy violet suit. His white hair is cut short. His eyes are hazel and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. When triggered he is a bloodthirsty maniac, stopping at nothing and killing everything for almost an hour.

History: Roger was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Fortune-teller. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and seeks redemption

Description: Dark and lean, she is a relatively plain woman. She is dressed in a clean green cloak covering her clean studded leather. Her hair is chestnut and curly. She wears a mask on her face.

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.

History: Born in the west her family was never financially stable. At a young age her mother died while driving off some illithids. Her father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train her in bastard sword use. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud; and to prove her worth to the world
