Description: The man speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. He seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if he got out from a pool a few moments ago. He prefers to wear flannel. He has dyed his greying brown hair a little too much giving a sharp brown color. He is baby faced.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: She fancies herself a trickster and likes to rely on her wits to carry the day. She cares for her older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. She uses her nature as a weapon; she likes to lead opponents to think her in distress.

History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her father. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother; and an old rival family wants her found

She wears her red hair up in a very large beehive style do. She is missing an eye and her face is severely sunburned. Her one remaining eye shines blue.

Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. She is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Bookbinder arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture.

Description: A hulking man with gigantic muscles, he wears a simple red robe with black stripes complete with hood. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. His violet eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, William is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
