History: Gifted from a young age, Robert studied abroad. At some point he was captured by gnolls and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He found several beat up suits of armor and, cannibalizing spare parts, he put together a working one.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it; and to clean up the streets

When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Stableman hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: She possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and regain custody of her daughter
