Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. Personality: She is quite rude, and likes to deride her opponents skill and shout insults at them. She has all her life been fascinated with dancing.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. After a long history of fighting, Herleva and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He was granted psionic powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: To pay off his debts; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it

Description: A middle-aged woman, she is well dressed, but even with her fine clothing she looks run-down, and is pretty ugly. Her brown hair is wavy and long. Her face possesses mild wrinkles. Her smile is extraordinarily sincere though she does not smile often.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Ida embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. She is fiercely devoted to her mother, and views her mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-brother.

History: Ida lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She was granted psionic powers by her dying brother.

Motivation: She wants to meet her childhood hero; and regain custody of her daughter
