History: Balimaar hails from a village terrorized by drow. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by drow. Balimaar was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the drow.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Gerard was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.
