History: Avice was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Miner hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: Mary lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. While she appears to be a normal Human, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

Motivation: She has passion for adventuring and risk; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and she desires to right it

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with dancing. He constantly tries to fill his life with dancing. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: A child with a great deal of dancing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Butcher. In the meantime he has taken over work as a Butcher and occasionally as a mercenary.

Personality: Jacoba speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. She is clearly well-traveled and educated. The war was a terrible time for her, and Jacoba does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. When Jacoba reached her early adolescence her Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She now mingles about in high society.
