History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her father. Her parents enrolled her in a Paladin school at a young age so that she could practice her divine talents. She was granted divine powers by her dying sister.

His mother taught him the rudiments of the Miller arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Through the years after Herleva was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Herleva's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
