Description: He appears as an extremely gaunt Human, and stands approximately 5'7". He is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times, and his gloved hand is found clutching a lance. He has a long golden beard with little hanging trinkets. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: Miles is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He was raised in a mountains tribe. Through the years after Miles was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Miles's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Miles and his spouse have recently divorced.

Description: He is in excellent shape and wears a pastel cloak and cross-gartered brown stockings. His hair is short and silver. He has violet eyes and a pastel hat with a brown feather.

Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. His job bores him to no end. He has decided to make it more interesting.

History: He comes from a rich western family. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with writing. He constantly tries to fill his life with writing. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero.

Description: A thin man, he clearly needs to put on some weight, but he still has a lot of muscle. He wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. His fierce amber eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: Tim hails from a village terrorized by brigands. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Tim alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of brigands; and wants to work out more often
