History: Born in the south to a Knight, Richard learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, giants burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying south to reunite his family. Recently the stress of being a Knight has made it difficult for him to sleep.

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She now mingles about in high society.
