History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Roland and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: She is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Katherine lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She helped her mother out around the business and became quite the natural. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Personality: She is extraordinarily eccentric. She is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of her. She is by nature obliging.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Shipwright they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Sage, and she later adopted a second daughter.
