She saw this and took pride in her mother's willingness to do anything to win. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. The war was a terrible time for him, and Alexandre does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born into a rich family. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he seems to be bored by most things

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. In his 14th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Jeweler.

Personality: Miles is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. Miles enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Born to a Herbalist, his father struggled to pay the bills. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Miles was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and to get a good night's sleep
