History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Gerald alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In her 10th year, her parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Elizabeth alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has worked as a Fortune-teller like her mother before her.

Motivation: Expand her business; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and she desires to right it

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: William hails from a village terrorized by orcs. He found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.
