History: Oriel lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Marshal they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Sage, and she later adopted a second son.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered writing. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. In the meantime he has taken over work as a Merchant and occasionally as a mercenary.

Personality: She's a bit of a prankster. She knows she is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. She passes on several rewards to people in need. She makes a point to leave places better than she found them.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Shipwright hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.
