History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. After a long history of fighting, Arnold and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: Stoic and calm, she prefers to meditate than take action. She has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage
