History: A powerful wizard made her what she is. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Melissa grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Melissa. As of late she has set up a hidden staging nest where she ambushes people she hires for escort.

Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions

History: A child with a great deal of dancing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She has achieved small success as a Sailor.

Description: She is a paragon of her species. She is larger and stronger than most Humans. Her skin is light but she possesses many brown ritualistic tattoos. She wears a tan shirt, with a brown mid length skirt with brown tights and flats, usually wearing a coat over them. She keeps her golden hair in a flapper bob. Her half smiles and amber eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating she would invite many more into her home than her spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.

History: Born in the west to a Shepherd, Jacoba learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
