Description: He is renowned for his bright brown suits and hats. His attire stands in sharp contrast to his halberd, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a cross on it. His blonde hair is thinning but still full. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines hazel.
Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.
History: Anselm hails from a village terrorized by giants. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and a deep hatred of giants

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he wears a worn and beaten armor. His hair is black and curly. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are gray.
Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.
History: He was born into a rich family. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. After months of barely getting by, Hubert managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, he made his way to the capital under a new identity.
Motivation: Wants a kiss; and he wants to get laid

Description: He wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. He carries a battered greataxe and tarnished falchion as well. He has red hair. His ears are large.
Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Heward is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.
History: Heward lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.
Motivation: To unite with his brother; and an old rival family wants him found

Description: A 5'4" eastern woman, she wears a simple grey robe with brown stripes complete with hood. Her chestnut hair is still thick. Her face is scarred and worn.
Personality: She swings through moods quickly. One moment she is cool and collected, the next she is carried away by passions. The war was a terrible time for her, and Ermina does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.
History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and she feels kind of lost in life
