History: Born to a Gardener, his mother struggled to pay the bills. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Personality: Ernest wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Paladin, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He tends to his Sage job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Sage responsibilities is difficult; and he is greedy

Description: She is in excellent shape and is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright violet and blue, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. Her hair is long and black with streaks of brown, and is pulled back with small violet clips. Her otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: She hates gnolls. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. Flattery will make her almost putty in your hands.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent father; and revenge

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Ralf was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A gifted student he started as a Mercenary, but he got bored and became a Sailor. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Sailor for the past few years.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac
