Description: This malnourished man wears tight fitting pants and leather jackets. He usually doesn't wear a shirt. His hair, while still mostly blonde, has prominent grey streaks. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Cory isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Human unity. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Cory hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Cory fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Gerard was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers

Description: This southern man wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized brown coat. His clothes are grease stained in places. His brown hair and beard is wavy and long. His brown eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: Gunter wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Paladin, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Description: A woman with a cold, calculating air about her, she wears brown painted combat armor at almost all times. Her hair is cut close to her head. Her eyes are green and catlike.

Personality: She likes to fabricate stories about her past exploits and how crazy she is, but in actuality she is rather bland. She is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a daughter. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out; and to end her boredom
