History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Godfrey grew up listening to his father's many stories. Through the years after Godfrey was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Godfrey's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

History: Sybil was born the youngest of three triplets. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Sybil grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Sybil. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

History: Adelard hails from a village terrorized by brigands. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: Many brigands want him driven away; and he's in love
