She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Navigator for the past few years.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Lewis was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He was granted martial powers by his dying brother.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Map Maker work with an outfit from a few towns over. Map Maker work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She tends to her Map Maker job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.
