History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud; and several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge

Personality: She fancies herself a trickster and likes to rely on her wits to carry the day. She cares for her older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. She is kind towards other women and children and will generally offer women help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to her.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Marry her sister to traveling adventurers; and her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion

Personality: She is intelligent and cunning, but she will too often allow her rage to get the better of her. She will lose her cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of brigands may trigger it at times.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a ruined castle. She would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Mary took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up axe and armor she uses now. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Cook.
