Description: She has a missing left arm. She wears black trousers with green and black striped suspenders. She wears various colorful collared shirts. Her white hair is long and unkept. Her gray eyes dart from person to person.
Personality: She snorts whenever she laughs or is feeling confident. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of brigands may trigger it at times.
History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: Many brigands want her driven away; and several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge

Description: This fat southern man has a bulbous nose and likes to wear ponchos typically of a light blue in addition to tight pants. His skin is also unnaturally pale. With bright brown hair and a scraggly beard. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.
Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. He is seen as merciless and passionate.
History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.
Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and to reunite with his absent mother

She carries with her a set of pickaxes, each one with a emerald on the hilt. She only wears one on her belt and the other on her back. She has a very tight haircut. Her ears are large.
Personality: She is a very philanthropic person; she spends her free time working at various soup kitchens. She is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories she has discovered
History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Description: He is dressed in earthy colors with a black and green handkerchief worn on his right side, and carries flails. His silver hair is singed and shortened. He has a tattooed face.
Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.
History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Bertram took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up flail and armor he uses now. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs.
