Description: A stocky darker skinned man, he has a large green mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into his grey robe. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. His green eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He is obsessed with his god.

History: Bernard was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Trym fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and doesn't want to be a cartwright and was forced into it by his family
