One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. History: Jocelyn hails from a village terrorized by brigands. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his mother's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered brigands who tried to eat his hand. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Jocelyn was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the brigands.

History: A powerful necromancer made her what she is. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Some 10 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Sybil never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her father had trained her before.
