Description: He wears a black vest and prefers red and white shirts. His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. His skin is fair and his fingers are delicate and long. His head has been shaved. His eyes are amber and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, dire rats burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying west to reunite his family. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and many dire rats want him driven away

Description: With pastel face paint in a stripe pattern across her face, she tends to wear a large blue jacket. She is bald on top and has large red tufts of hair around her ears. Her eyes, though not visible through her cowl, are blue.

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. She can't help but pocket interesting objects she comes across

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: Seeks redemption; and several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Painter born in the past three hundred years. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Painter for hire.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the south; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Description: This light-skinned male wears professional attire. He is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. He has styled his black hair well, parting it to the right. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: The child of a Barber, who enjoyed hunting, Adam was taken on many hunting expeditions. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He has worked as a Stableman like his mother before him.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
